Deviation Actions
Hi guys, Jediah here and this is another trailer review, it's for the 2015 film "Chappie," directed by Neill Blomkamp (the director of "District 9" and "Elysium"). Now the thing about Neill's career, at now, in its beginning stages is that most adore his first film "District 9," while his second film "Elysium" got a mixed reaction, with some loving it and some hating and some thinking it was 'meh,' I personally am one of the people who loved it and I am looking forward his third film "Chappie," now from what I know and from what I saw in the trailer, Chappie is about a robot invented by this guy, and it kinda develops sentience, but the robot only has the mind of a child and thus it's very innocent and curious in nature, but once the robot starts exploring the world, he only experiences prejudge and starts getting bad influences I'm guessing, I'm not really sure what it's about, but I'm definitely intrigued. The movie seems to be going for a "Short Circuit" vibe, I mean Chappie in the trailer even says "Chappie is alive!" just like "Number Five is alive" in "Short Circuit," though this time in this movie, the sentience is developed on purpose by the scientist, not accidental like in "Short Circuit," but yeah this trailer is very good. Hugh Jackson is the movie, but I'm not sure what role he plays and the titular robot character Chappie is voiced by Sharto Copley (the same actor from "District 9" and "Elysium"; Neill must really love this guy) and they do show what Chappie's voice sounds like and I really like it, it sounds robotic, but also very innocent like a child, Sharto I'm sure is going to kill it in terms of voice acting. The movie seems like it will have action elements, but it won't be the thing that'll drive the movie, the thing that will drive the movie, at from what I saw in the trailer is the relationship between Chappie and the scientist that created him. I'm really looking forward to this movie, I was looking forward to it before, when I heard about it from aag oneeightnine (aka BNN), now that I've seen the trailer, I'm more more excited for it. Check out the trailer below:
Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

My Thoughts on Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling
I just watched Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling, the Rocko's Modern Life movie or special (whatever you want to call it) that was released on Netflix in 2019, 5 years ago, can you believe that? Time sure does fly doesn't it? I remember seeing the first trailer for this movie, seeing all the hype from the fans had missed this show and were just happy to see something be made of it two decades later, as well as the right-wing reactionary backlash that it received because Joe Murray and the other writers, Mr. Lawrence and Martin Olson decided to make Ralph Bighead πΈ a transgender woman π³οΈββ§οΈ named Rachel Bighead πΈ. But, I never got around to watching it, and I kind of forgot about it until recently when I started reposting my reviews from 2023, and I was writing those notes at the beginning of them to let new readers know that they were old posts, and kind of explain my motives for writing them and was going through my head while writing them, as well as talk about things I didn't get to
My Thoughts on Rebel Moon Part One
I just finished watching Rebel Moon βΒ Part One: A Child of Fire, the latest Zack Snyder movie straight to Netflix, and I'm ready to write about it. Now, this is a 2023 movie, so I won't count as a New Movie That I saw in 2024. I will count Rebel Moon β Part Two: The Scargiver as a 2024 movie since it actually coming out this year, in April. I will also write a review of that when it comes out. I did not immediately watch it when it came out back in December because I was focused on reposting all of my 2023 reviews on my blog in time for my New Years Eve Recap, as well as squeezing one more movie to write a review of, and include in my 2023 Recap. I chose Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem π’π₯· as the last movie I would watch for 2023, and I figured that I could save this movie for the New Year. I didn't even know this movie was coming out until the first trailer dropped on YouTube in either November or December. I think it might've been December because I remember as soon as
New Year's Eve 2023 Recap
Well everyone, we made it through this year mostly and alive. Sure, there were low points as there are every year, but compared to the last three years, this was pretty good all things considered. Now, it's time to finally say goodbye to 2023, and what better way to do that than discuss all of the movies that I saw this year. I saw about 12 movies this year until the year's end, and I managed to see about 9 of them in theaters, which is way more than the last three years. I wrote individual reviews for about 7 of them, which you can read on DeviantART or on my new blog. Yes, that's right. I managed to fulfill my New Year's resolution from last year to create my own website. I mean, it's not exactly a full website, it's just a blog, but it's something. At least, I can post my writings somewhere other than DeviantART, and can gain wider audience hopefully. I really don't know which movies are coming out next year other than Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, Dune Part II
My Thoughts of TMNT: Mutant Mayhem
I just watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem π’π₯·, the animated Ninja Turtles π’π₯· movie that was released earlier this year in August, and was produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and directed by Jeff Rowe, and what did I think of it? I thought it was pretty good. Now, I want to say up front that I'm not a Ninja Turtles π’π₯· fan. I've never watched any of the cartoons, or read any of the comic books, or played any of the video games, or watched any of the movies that were made before this. It was just never my thing, and I could never really get into it. I did know of Ninja Turtles π’π₯·, like I knew some of the characters, like I knew the turtles π’ them, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, I knew their rat master and father figure π, Splinter, I knew April O'Neil, I knew the Shredder, I knew the Foot Clan π₯·, I knew Bebop and Rocksteady, I knew Krang, I knew the Technodrome, I knew Baxter Stockman, and I knew the ooze. And I only reason I knew any of those
